The Head Baker and Pastry Chef plays a crucial role in overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods and pastries.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of skilled bakers and pastry chefs in the preparation and presentation of a variety of baked goods and pastries.
  • Develop new recipes and enhance existing ones to improve menu offerings.
  • Ensure that all products are made with high-quality ingredients and adhere to strict food safety standards.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of baking supplies to maintain efficient operations.
  • Train and mentor junior bakers and pastry chefs, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain equipment used in the baking process to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create seasonal and special event menus.
  • Oversee the presentation of baked goods to ensure they meet aesthetic standards.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to maintain product consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate them into the bakery's offerings.
