Position Summary

Amentum is looking for a highly motivated and experienced MQ-9 Aircraft Technician to join our team in the Deployment Pool. As an MQ-9 Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on RPA systems and support equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience working on MQ-9 aircraft, with a strong understanding of technical publications related to aircraft mechanical maintenance. You must also be able to inspect and operate ground support and auxiliary equipment, as well as lift, carry, and wear military-issued equipment in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods.

Essential Functions

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on RPA systems and support equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve airframe, engine, flight control, pneudraulic, fuel, electrical/electronic system problems.
  • Support aircraft utilization and maintenance activity schedules.
  • Service, repair, and overhaul aircraft equipment, engines, and sub-systems to ensure serviceability.
