Overview

 

The position is located in Kuwait, supporting the LOGCAP. Under the supervision of the Production Control Supervisor/Maintenance Supervisor, the Production Control Clerk Lead oversees daily operations of the Production Control and Work Orders Section.

 

This role serves as the centralized customer service focal point, processing all work requests, including after-hours calls. The individual dispatches craftsmen to emergencies, writes corrective maintenance (CM), and classifies work using the current Government work classification system.

 

The Production Control Clerk Lead inspects, maintains, repairs, operates, and performs minor alterations efficiently and economically. They process all work requests within 24 hours after receipt to ensure high customer satisfaction.

 

Additionally, this role manages the CE vehicle fleet and associated tasks, making vehicle assignments and managing inventory, monitoring Government vehicle status, providing maintenance oversight, preparing reports, and investigating incidents.

 

Responsibilities

Performing other job duties assigned by management.

 

Qualifications

 

A minimum of one year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required.

 

An associate degree or equivalent is preferred.

 

The candidate must provide a copy of the diploma or college transcript.

 

Must be able to obtain a CAC.

 

Must be able to obtain a Driver's License.

 

Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbally.

 

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

 

Skills

 

Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.

 

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

 

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

 

Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.

 

Prioritizing responsibilities to handle a demanding workload.

 

Ability to work under pressure.

 

Experience in automated data systems.

 

Minimum of five years of experience in Production Control.

 

Working Conditions

 

Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

 

Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions.

 

Includes some industrial production environment conditions.

 

Physical Requirements

 

Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.

 

Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and working with or in areas where exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents may exist.

 

Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations.

 

Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
