Remote Product Development Manager

This is a remote role within the EMEA region that requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.

  • We are seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to lead our product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with priorities and goals.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the product development lifecycle, reviewing priorities and goals for your product, to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of product development projects.
  3. Conduct market research to analyze industry trends and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  4. Communicate product vision, status updates, and key decisions to ensure alignment and manage expectations among stakeholders.
  5. Conduct usability testing to analyze user feedback and iterate on the product to improve the user experience.
  6. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and support teams to develop go-to-market strategies and provide training.
  7. Contribute to the success of our sales team in winning new opportunities by reviewing customer feedback and participating in customer meetings.
Requirements:
  1. Exceptional academic results at high school and university, with a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering.
  2. Understanding of Linux and the wider open source software community, with knowledge of application development frameworks.
  3. Familiarity with cloud services, data center, embedded and connected device technology, and ecosystems.
  4. A strong work ethic, personal interests aligned with the open source movement, and a curiosity for continuous learning.
  5. Problem-solving skills, ability to innovate, and outstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  6. Ability to travel internationally up to 4 times a year for company events up to two weeks long.
Nice-to-have Skills:
  1. Familiarity with the Linux open source software ecosystem, including windows managers (GNOME, KDE), identity management solutions (Entra, Orca, LDAP).
  2. Familiarity with the technology ecosystem, including Silicon, IHV, ISV, ODM/OEMs, cloud service providers.
