Painter Lead Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of painters and take charge of painting projects from start to finish. As a Painter Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that all surfaces are properly prepared and painted using the right techniques and materials.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Painting tasks and supervising a small group of employees engaged in painting activities.
  • Ensuring adequate supplies and materials are readily available.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of surface peculiarities and types of paint required for different applications.
  • Preparing surfaces to be painted by washing, filling holes and cracks with putty, and sanding until smooth.
  • Applying primer and other sealers to paint surfaces to ensure that paint sticks to them.
  • Applying paint, stain, and other finishes to paint surfaces using paintbrushes, rollers, or sprayers.
Qualifications:
  • Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and host nation Driver's License are required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must provide a copy of the diploma.
Experience:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a painter, acquired through formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
