Job Description

The Stockroom Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the store's inventory levels, monitoring expiration dates, and conducting regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor expiration dates, and conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.
  2. Pricing and Display Verification: Verify that prices and displays are accurate and consistent across all locations.
  3. Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment in good working condition to prevent downtime and ensure productivity.
  4. Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on product freshness and stock levels throughout the day.
  5. Customer Service: Provide high-quality service and assistance to customers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues promptly.

Requirements:

  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college-level education preferred.
  2. Communication Skills: Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
  3. Language Skills: Good command of English language; French and Basic Arabic are an added advantage.
  4. Previous Industry Experience: Previous experience in a similar industry within the GCC region is highly desirable.
  5. Strong Work Ethic: Strong honesty, proactive, dedicated, and committed work ethic.
  6. Physical Fitness: Physical fitness to perform manual labor and heavy lifting (approximately 1-15 kilos).
