Dermatology Specialist

Job Description:
To provide high-quality dermatology services for diagnosing and managing diseases under the scope of care of the dermatology specialty at Taiba Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients with skin conditions, assess their progress, and oversee dermatological treatments in outpatient clinics.
- Analyze information regarding skin health conditions to inform treatment decisions.
- Educate patients on preventive skin care strategies to promote healthy skin habits.
- Advise on suitable treatments, prescribe medication as necessary, and conduct non-invasive surgical procedures.
- Undertake clinical responsibilities as directed by the consultant, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Refer patients to other specialists when indicated to ensure comprehensive care.
- Identify potential risks associated with previous treatments and procedures, manage them accordingly, and complete required documentation accurately and timely.
- Coordinate follow-up visits, monitor patient health after treatment or procedure, and maintain effective communication with multidisciplinary team caregivers.
- Ensure a safe environment for staff and patients, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Assist in covering unexpected absences, participate in registrar on-call rotas, and demonstrate flexibility to meet departmental needs.
