Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • High School graduate or equivalent, demonstrating foundational knowledge and skills.
    • Valid Journeyman's or Master Tradesman's license from the United States preferred, showcasing advanced expertise and credentials.
    • Ability to obtain host nation driver license, meeting local requirements and regulations.
    • Must be CAC eligible and/or ability to obtain a CAC, adhering to security protocols and procedures.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8 years continuous experience performing installation or maintenance services on building systems at the journeyman's or inspector's level, highlighting sustained competence and dedication.
    • Must have 3 years documented experience supervising others in a variety of trade disciplines, showcasing leadership abilities and management skills.
  • Skills:
    • Must possess the technical skill to identify repair requirements as it pertains to building systems and equipment in a variety of disciplines, combining theoretical knowledge with practical expertise.
    • Must be able to lead others and provide adequate supervision and direction to accomplish organizational goals, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
    • Must be able to provide technical direction to an inspection team across all disciplines of trades, offering guidance and mentorship.
    • Must have expert knowledge of equipment manuals for servicing, operations, and repair of building systems, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies.
    • Must be an expert in corrective actions performed by maintenance teams, understanding the importance of prompt and effective resolution.
    • Must have the ability to troubleshoot, service, and repair electrical systems, applying problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
    • Must have full knowledge of industry utilized tools and test equipment, using the latest technologies and innovations.
    • Must be proficient in all phases of paperwork as it pertains to servicing, maintenance, repairs, classification, etc., managing administrative tasks with ease and efficiency.
    • Must have expert knowledge of equipment operations as it is critical to providing a quality inspection program, emphasizing the importance of operational excellence.
    • Must be capable of giving and receiving instructions during the course of normal duties, communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
    • Must be capable of working independently with little-or-no guidance, exercising self-motivation and initiative.
    • Must be willing to adapt to rapidly-changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit, adhering to health and safety protocols.
    • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
    • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well, emphasizing the need for adaptability and flexibility.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects, showcasing physical stamina and endurance.
    • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents, prioritizing safety and health.
    • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices, emphasizing the importance of protective gear.
    • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
