Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Large Area Maintenance Shelters (LAMS) Technician to join our team at SYNERJE Global Solutions. This key role involves supporting the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of LAMS structures.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with fabric structures, tensioned shelters, and modular maintenance facilities used for military, aviation, and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation & Assembly: Assist in the construction, setup, and anchoring of LAMS structures, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
  • Routine Maintenance & Repairs: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including structural inspections, fabric repairs, and hardware replacements.
  • Environmental Protection Compliance: Ensure LAMS structures meet environmental and safety regulations, including wind load assessments, fire safety standards, and storm readiness.
  • Electrical & HVAC Support: Collaborate with electricians and HVAC technicians for proper power distribution, lighting, ventilation, and climate control within the shelters.
  • Quality Control & Documentation: Maintain inspection records, maintenance logs, and service reports to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA, DoD, and manufacturer safety protocols for working at heights, handling heavy materials, and operating tools/equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in LAMS assembly, maintenance, or industrial tent structures.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with fabric tension structures, frame anchoring systems, HVAC integration, and electrical grounding.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
  • OSHA 10/30 Safety Certification
  • Fall Protection & Confined Space Training
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel to various locations as required for project execution.
