Job Description:
">- This role involves managing inventory and property accountability principles and methods to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- You will oversee the receipt and stocking of materials and supplies, and process supported customers' requests into the system.
- In addition, you will monitor and verify all data input into the GCSS-Army system and produce management and production reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ordering and receiving Class II, III, and Class IV supplies and materials through the GCSS System.
- Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
- Submit/Pick-up work orders (DA Form 2407-E and DA Form 5988-E) Direct Support (DS) level maintenance through Maintenance Management Section.
- Monitor stock control operation and daily GCSS operation such as location maintenance, inventory processing, and offer support for customer requests.
- Interfaces with GCSS-A and directs the ordering and tracking of materials and supplies to ensure delivery as scheduled.
- Report, monitor and process requests, provide status and reconciliation list to supported customers.
- Maintains an accurate and up-to-date control of material on a daily basis.
- Control and verify all data input into GCSS processing.
- Ensures documents will be retained for all items being turned in to the Defense Reutilization Marketing Office (DRMO).
- Produce and analyze daily production reports.
- Provide technical assistance.
- Must be willing to work on holidays, short notices, all shifts, overtime, and assigned to any MWR location in Kuwait. Vacation scheduling will also be dictated by mission requirements.
- Performs other duties as required and directed by MWR Management. Duties include but are not limited to assisting other department sections to ensure mission requirements, working different shift patterns, and cross-leveling into different MWR job titles and duties when directed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required.
- Experience: Military or equivalent civilian training in the Army Supply System is strongly desired.
- Skills: Must be computer literate and proficient using MS Office Integrated Software and other related programs.
