This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Ladle Refining Furnace Operator. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our ladle refining furnace, which is essential for producing high-quality steel products.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Operate the Ladle Refining Furnace: Operate the ladle refining furnace safely and efficiently, ensuring that all processes are followed and quality standards are met.
  2. Monitor and Control Processes: Monitor and control various processes, including temperature, chemistry, and superheat, to ensure that they meet the required standards.
  3. Coordinate with Other Teams: Coordinate with other teams, such as refractory SIC, EAF/LF supervisor, and hot metal crane operator, to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.
  4. Log and Report Information: Log and report all relevant information in the Level 2 system, including heat reports, deviations, delays, electrode changing/adjustment activities, and ladle details.
  5. Maintain Equipment and Working Environment: Maintain the ladle refining furnace and surrounding working environment to ensure a safe and healthy working condition.
