About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled General Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a General Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including electrical, carpentry, painting, concrete, plumbing, welding, drywall, door hardware, and ceiling and flooring systems. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.

• The successful candidate will have experience in troubleshooting techniques to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills are essential to convey system issues to colleagues and management.
• The technician should possess good mechanical skills to handle equipment safely and avoid injuries.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Infrastructure sustainment activities;
• Maintenance of structures surrounding facilities;
• Repair and change locks in buildings;
• Complex lock servicing;
• Supply chain/logistics support;
• Participating in safety training classes related to job description.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a vocational or high school diploma or equivalent and at least seven years of experience as a General Maintenance Mechanic. They must also hold a US citizenship with Final Top-Secret Clearance based on a TIER 5 Background Investigation and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
