Lab Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and organized Lab Supervisor to oversee the management of our campus laboratories. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all labs, coordinating maintenance tasks, and evaluating technician performance.

The Lab Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Coordinating the purchasing and storage of lab supplies
• Evaluating lab technician job performance
• Assisting in the creation of lab schedules
• Developing and implementing lab safety policies
• Coordinating maintenance of lab equipment
• Preparing and submitting budgets for new equipment
• Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for each lab
• Coordinating annual training for lab technicians and lab instructors
• Coordinating delivery, setup, and training for newly purchased equipment

This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or higher and at least 2 years of experience in lab supervision. Preferred requirements include experience in a supervisory role, continuing education in lab management and/or lab safety, and a master's degree or higher.
