MWR Supervisor

The Fitness Center Lead will be responsible for:

• Providing customer service/public relations in a fitness-type facility.
• Interacting with a large customer base, handling customer issues.
• Maintaining accurate event/facility attendance records for programs.
• Handling telephone inquiries, greeting visitors, and providing information.
• Ensuring security and accountability of Government-furnished and expendable equipment/property.
• Ensuring cleanliness/serviceability of equipment and check-out items.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
• Experience: CPR/AED and First Aid certification from a nationally/internationally accredited agency required within 60 days of hire.
• Personal trainer/fitness instructor certifications from a nationally (American) or internationally recognized accrediting agency preferred but not required.
• Must possess strong computer skills and a high proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Proficiency level for reading, speaking, and writing in English at level 3.

Working Conditions:

• Capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions.
