Anatomical Pathology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to assume a leadership role in anatomical pathology at our private hospital in Kuwait.

About the Role:

• This position requires exceptional diagnostic skills, including examining and interpreting tissue samples, preparing detailed reports, and offering expert consultations to clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine histological specimens, diagnose, and interpret findings to provide accurate diagnoses.
• Prepare and review comprehensive histopathology reports, ensuring high levels of diagnostic accuracy and clarity for clinical use.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, techniques, and technologies to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans and manage patient care.
• Provide second opinions on complex cases, ensuring timely and accurate results.
• Participate in quality control programs to ensure consistency and reliability in diagnostic practices.
• Develop and implement departmental protocols and best practices to improve services.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Pursue ongoing education and research to advance knowledge in anatomical pathology and contribute to scientific publications.
• Mentor junior pathologists, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to administrative management of the pathology department, including case reviews, report turnaround times, and resource allocation.

Requirements:

• Medical degree with specialization in Histopathology/Pathology
• Board-certified/recognized qualification in Histopathology
• Master's degree in Histopathology
• Fellowship or PhD in relevant field
• Minimum 15 years' experience in Histopathology/Pathology
