Job Opportunity: Chemistry Educator
">We are seeking a skilled and dedicated chemistry educator to join our team. As a chemistry teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of students at the secondary grade level.
Your role will involve instructing through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations, using various teaching methods and materials to facilitate learning. You will also be required to establish a positive relationship with students, organize learning resources, and maintain a well-structured classroom environment.
In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will meet with parents, guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to address any behavioral or academic issues that may arise. Attending professional development workshops and conferences is also essential to maintaining and improving your professional competence.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for chemistry education at the secondary grade level.
- Use various teaching methods and materials to facilitate student learning.
- Establish a positive relationship with students and maintain a well-structured classroom environment.
- Meet with parents, guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to address behavioral or academic issues.
- Attend professional development workshops and conferences to improve professional competence.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University.
- Teaching qualification from a recognized country (UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA, Scandinavian countries).
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to pass an IELTS at level 6.5.
- Excellent classroom management skills and ability to deal effectively with student behavior issues.
- Tax-free monthly salary ranging from KD 725 - 1175 depending on qualifications and years of experience.
- Furnished 2-bedroom apartment or housing allowance of KD 125 monthly.
- Transportation provided to school from school accommodation.
- Utilities paid for by school if staying in school accommodation.
