Job Description

Five Rivers Services (FRS), an Akima company, is seeking a Telecommunications Network Architect to join our team of professionals. As an Alaska Native Corporation, we are committed to supporting our shareholder communities and providing innovative solutions for our government customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications engineering and experience designing and implementing networks. The role requires expert-level knowledge of telecommunication systems, hardware communication utilities, utility mapping, utility relocation, utility coordination, and utility design. Responsibilities include:
  • Performs Outside Plant/Inside Plant (OSP/ISP) Project Management, Quality Control, and Final Testing for all Information Management Directorate (IMD) Telecom Projects.
  • Conducts OSP/ISP provisioning and maintenance of design drawings.
  • Provides direct assistance for the overall maintenance of ISP installations, as well as with new equipment.
