Role Overview As the CISO – Strategic Advisor (Sales), you will leverage your deep industry expertise and extensive network to drive strategic growth at SEC1.
Your ability to identify, nurture, and convert business opportunities will be a key driver of success.
This role is ideal for a CISO who has a strong network, industry knowledge, and is looking to leverage their experience in a sales-centric advisory capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Partnerships:
Leverage your industry connections to cultivate strategic partnerships with enterprise clients, technology partners, and other stakeholders. Your influence will help drive revenue growth by opening new business avenues.
Referral & Network Expansion:
Use your network to identify, refer, and close high-value clients or strategic partnerships aligned with SEC1's growth objectives. Though not directly involved in day-to-day sales, any business opportunities you initiate and help close will result in significant commissions.
Strategic Sales Advisory:
Provide insights on market trends, regulatory changes, and customer pain points, helping to shape SEC1's product and sales strategies to meet evolving industry demands.
C-Level Engagement:
Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise CISOs, CTOs, and IT leaders, presenting SEC1's solutions as the answer to their most pressing security challenges.
Your relationships and influence will be key in creating opportunities for new business.
Qualifications:
Proven CISO Experience:
A minimum of 15+ years in a CISO or senior cybersecurity leadership role, with a strong record of managing complex security challenges for large organizations.
Extensive Network:
A well-established network within the cybersecurity community, including key decision-makers at large enterprises and industry leaders, particularly CISOs, CTOs, and IT executives.
Sales Acumen:
A strategic thinker with a consultative approach to sales, capable of identifying, nurturing, and converting business opportunities. Experience driving business growth through partnerships and strategic advisory roles is highly preferred.
Industry Expertise:
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity products, market trends, and enterprise security needs. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and others is advantageous.
Strategic & Collaborative:
Ability to work closely with SEC1's leadership, product, and sales teams to align on strategies that drive growth. A collaborative mindset is essential to success in this role.
Communication Skills:
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with executive leadership and represent SEC1 at industry events.
