About the Role

Sperton Global AS is seeking a talented and experienced Cementing Operations Specialist to lead our laboratory activities supporting cementing operations. As a member of our team, you will utilize your expertise in cement job design, testing, and analysis to optimize lab and field operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and run simulations for high-profile cementing designs.
  • Conduct testing to evaluate critical properties of cement slurry.
  • Provide technical support to engineering and sales teams.
  • Analyze cementing job execution and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance lab and field operations.
  • Supervise laboratory activities related to cementing.
  • Develop and implement design programs for cementing jobs.
  • Coordinate lab testing of materials to ensure quality control.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and update standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients to integrate their requirements into job designs.
  • Present technical reports to clients and internal teams.
  • Provide on-call support and troubleshoot during operations.
  • Support sales representatives by offering technical expertise.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of lab professionals.
Requirements:
  • Experience in cementing operations, job design, or related roles.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • Knowledge of cement slurry testing and analysis.
  • Expertise in cement job simulations and troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical reporting and client collaboration skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership experience in managing and developing teams.
