About the Role
As a Risk Management Expert for Energy Projects, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our projects.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies to minimize potential threats to our projects.

Main Responsibilities:
• Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors, and engagement activities
• Ensure quality and accuracy of EPC/FEED Contractor's Loss Prevention Engineering activities
• Review and approve EPC/FEED Contractor's work and ensure compliance with Contract obligations, Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, design philosophy, and Industry best practices
• Provide technical guidance to develop new specifications and update existing specifications
• Perform calculations for design validation and optimization
• Participate in analysis during EPC/FEED Contractor and Vendor pre-qualification, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation
• Review Emergency Response procedures and plans for Loss Prevention inputs including alignment with Owner specifications and standards etc.
• Assist in the handling of correspondence related to Process Safety and Loss Prevention.

Requirements:
• Minimum Requirements: At least a BSc/BEng in a relevant Engineering discipline
• Relevant experience is must within the Oil & Gas industry
• Prior exposure within Refinery and/or Petrochemical project environments
• Extensive familiarity with FEED and EPC phases of major Engineering projects
• Knowledge of Fire & Safety codes and standards such as Egyptian legal requirements & International Standards/Codes of Practices & NFPA standards and API, etc.
