Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist in establishing control points for assigned projects.
  • Liaise with GIS & Environment team to verify contaminated feature boundaries.
  • Support environment team in survey tasks such as marking soil sample locations and borehole locations.
  • Record survey results including shape, location, elevation and dimensions of land features.
  • Conduct standard calculations to identify areas, elevation and volumes from field survey notes.
  • Collaborate with Construction team to conduct field verification of RFI's.
  • Read and interpret design drawings and topographic maps.
  • Assist UXO team in marking potential UXO targets.
  • Read and interpret CAD computer applications.
  • Maintain accuracy of surveying instruments.
  • Analyse survey objectives and specifications to prepare survey proposals.
