About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical analyses of oil and gas samples to determine their properties.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct laboratory tests and analyses on oil and gas samples to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  2. Develop cement slurry designs tailored to specific oil-well conditions and parameters.
  3. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  4. Assist in quality assurance tests on company products and prepare detailed laboratory reports.
  5. Maintain and update the database of slurry tests and designs performed in the lab and utilized in the field.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 6 - 8 years relevant experience in a Laboratory environment.
  • Certification as a Laboratory Analyst is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
