We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team for a 3-year cybersecurity transformation initiative in collaboration with a key government entity.

About the Role

">
  • You will act as the dedicated cybersecurity expert for the project, ensuring secure operations across network, cloud, application, and identity environments.
  • Serve as the on-site cybersecurity authority for the duration of the project.
">

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Design and enforce secure architecture for networks, cloud, and applications.
  • Manage IAM operations, including access controls, provisioning, and audits.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analysis.
  • Monitor for and respond to security incidents using SIEM/SOAR tools.
  • Collaborate with client teams and vendors to maintain secure project alignment.
  • Generate detailed security reports and lead security audit activities.

Required Certifications:

">
  • CISM – Certified Information Security Manager.
  • CEH – Certified Ethical Hacker.
  • Lead Auditor – ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Security+ – CompTIA Security+
">

Technical Proficiency:

">
  • Network Security: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Zero Trust, segmentation.
  • Identity & Access Management: SSO, MFA, RBAC, identity lifecycle.
  • Application Security: OWASP Top 10, DevSecOps, secure code review.
  • Cloud Security: AWS/Azure/GCP, CSPM tools, cloud security baselines.
  • SIEM & SOAR: Event monitoring, automation, threat intelligence integration.
  • Governance: Deep knowledge of ISO standards, local cybersecurity law in Kuwait.

Qualifications:

">
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of practical cybersecurity experience.
  • Prior work on government, defense, or national infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency (Arabic & English) is a strong advantage.
