Job Overview

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Servicer to join our team. As an Aircraft Servicer, you will be responsible for servicing aircraft, performing various tasks, and assisting pilots with maneuvering the aircraft on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate service vehicles to replenish water, waste system chemicals, and refuel or defuel aircraft.
  2. Assist with towing aircraft, operating ground support equipment, and examining tires for air pressure and condition.
  3. Position boarding platforms, de-ice aircraft wings, and extract engine oil samples for analysis.
  4. Coordinate with air traffic control via land mobile radio for follow me and towing of aircraft.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) airframe / Power plant license or relevant military experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
