Instructor in Mathematics and Related Fields

The Australian College of Kuwait is seeking experienced instructors to deliver successful foundation, diploma, and undergraduate programs in mathematics and related fields. This dynamic opportunity allows candidates to join a dedicated team within the Department of Mathematics.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach at various levels, including foundation, diploma, and undergraduate courses.
  2. Contribute to the development of curriculum and learning materials.

Requirements:

  1. A good first degree and post-graduate degree in mathematics or a related discipline.
  2. Recent industry or academic experience relevant to teaching mathematics.
  3. The ability to supervise students and contribute to problem-based learning initiatives.
  4. Collaborative working skills with experience of successfully contributing to a team environment.

Candidates will have the opportunity to engage in research aligned to departmental themes, particularly in problem-based learning in mathematics. External funding for research work and publication in high-quality journals are highly valued.
