Business Intelligence Specialist

Job Description:

  1. Provide analytical and technical support to ensure a unified view across the platform.
  2. Offer MIS support and technical assistance to internal users, delivering information through various channels.
  3. Utilize technical skills to manage data and conduct analysis efficiently.
  4. Familiar with database development, maintenance, and use for reporting.
  5. Collaborate with team members on departmental projects.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  1. Receive user requests, consolidate information, analyze, assist, develop, and utilize technical tools to provide information that may not be obtainable from existing system reports or inquiries.
  2. Act as a representative for supported projects, providing guidance and expertise.
  3. Perform analysis and test report analysis to determine the best way to produce required information, providing guidance for users to obtain information themselves.
  4. Gather proper data requirements from business, develop codes to extract data, validate rules, test outcomes, and deliver data to requesters.
  5. Explain data to requestors to ensure understanding of rules and definitions.
  6. Manage and support the maintenance of Department's MIS systems, managing user accessibility and rights.
  7. Communicate with clients on a regular basis for requirements status updates and issue resolution.
  8. Develop and manage Incentive-based Balanced Scorecards (based on KPIs), aligned with bank strategy and directions.
  9. Participate in design discussions, creating templates for data capturing.
  10. Maintain SOPs for Domestic Corporate related tasks and routines, ensuring fallback plans and procedures are available.
  11. Schedule and facilitate project team meetings and documents.
  12. Shadow supervisory functions, guiding junior analysts to perform tasks assigned.
  13. Support Division head as required.
