As a Facility Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Kuwait-based facility's electrical and fire systems.
- Under the supervision of the Trade Shop Supervisor and/or Facility Maintenance & Repair Supervisor, conducts routine and emergency maintenance of electronic intrusion alarm systems and equipment, components, and subsystems.
- Maintains and repairs circuit boards, circuit breakers, transformers, filters, batteries, rectifiers, and associated components and accessories in secure-, critical-, and sensitive-designed areas under control of the U.S. Army IAW contract requirements.
- Supervises a team of technicians in the accomplishment of maintenance and repair of fire detection, suppression, and other equipment.
- Utilizes advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques to troubleshoot and repair complex fire protection systems.
- Develops and implements maintenance schedules and protocols to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system reliability.
- Conducts regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, including completion of required work documents.
- Acts as a subject matter expert for fire alarm/suppression systems and provides guidance to junior staff members.
- Coordinates with senior management to develop and implement new technologies and strategies to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Participates in training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in fire protection technology and systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
