Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Mahatta Trading Co. The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and plywood.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construct and erect structures and fixtures using carpenter hand tools and power tools.
  • Follow blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine the type of material required and the dimensions of the structure and/or fixture to be fabricated.
  • Perform tasks such as painting light steel framing, installing gypsum board and finishing, and installing floor tile/vinyl and ceilings.
  • Install doors, hardware, and trim.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the carpentry lead.

Requirements: The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of carpentry principles and practices, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
