Job Role Description

The Chemical Analyst Specialist conducts all chemical and physical tests needed for qualifying DS and PT products. This role involves evaluating laboratory data, suggesting treatment for unsatisfactory results, and maintaining detailed records of testing procedures with an organized database for results. Additionally, this position may be assigned specialized tasks as delegated by the Lab Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, perform testing, and problem solve in a lab and field environment.
  • Guide Laboratory Technicians to maintain proper training among lab personnel, including supervisory duties.
  • Attain and maintain a complete understanding of all laboratory analysis procedures.
  • Conduct all chemical and physical tests needed for qualifying DS and MIPT products.
  • Supervise quality control applied procedures to ensure accurate results.
  • Direct, coordinate, or advise Technicians in test procedures for analyzing components or physical properties of materials.
  • Implement lab safety procedures and report any hazardous situations to the Lab Manager.
