Job Description

Nuclear Safety Expert for EU Project:

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium to implement the EU-funded project "Strengthening Egyptian nuclear safety and radioprotection regulatory infrastructure."

The overall objective of this action is to enhance the nuclear safety and radioprotection regulatory infrastructure of the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the core team in implementing the project.
  • Contribute to strengthening the nuclear safety and radioprotection regulatory infrastructure of ENRRA.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in natural science, engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English (CEFR Level B2).

Professional Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience working in nuclear safety.
  • 5+ years of experience in performing safety analyses for nuclear power plants using computer modeling.

Nuclear Power Plant Safety Analysis:

The successful candidate will have expertise in performing safety analyses for nuclear power plants, including VVER-1200 reactors. Familiarity with the EU Stress Test would be an asset.

Nuclear Regulatory Infrastructure Specialist:

This role requires a strong understanding of nuclear safety regulations and the ability to contribute to the development of effective regulatory frameworks.
