Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled SIS Systems Analyst and Programmer to support our university's Student Information System (SIS), including the Ellucian Banner platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain academic and administrative reports using SQL and PL/SQL, ensuring data accuracy and optimal performance.
  2. Extract, validate, and analyze data from Banner (Ellucian) and related systems, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
  3. Assist in optimizing report performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data integrity for SIS-related modules.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical and business requirements, contributing to the success of our institution.
  5. Support data integration and automation of student data workflows and reports, leveraging tools like BI Publisher, Power BI, or other reporting platforms.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Oracle Databases, SQL, and PL/SQL, as well as familiarity with Ellucian Banner or other Student Information Systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communicator and team collaborator, able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
