Technical Support Specialist
The role of Technical Support Specialist involves providing expert-level technical support, maintenance, and operational assessments for complex systems. The successful candidate should possess sufficient technical knowledge to provide tier two level support for maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of sensor systems and computer networks.

About the Position
This is a full-time position requiring travel to support multiple sites within deployed countries and nearby regions. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing onsite technical support, referring complex issues to subject matter experts as needed, and producing written documents detailing services planned or performed.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite technical support and refer complex issues to subject matter experts.
  • Offer tier two support for the operational components of the system, including radar and computer systems.
  • Produce written documents detailing services planned or performed, including memoranda, maintenance reports, and engineering surveys or service reports.
  • Engage in physically demanding work when required.
  • Conduct periodic training on the proper use and maintenance of assigned systems.

Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of technical experience in coordination and technical support for radars.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
  • Two years of experience in installation and maintenance of electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of Linux, Microsoft Windows OS, MS Office, Visio, and Auto CAD.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.
  • US citizenship required.
