Job Title: Chief Aircraft Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Aircraft Engineer to join our team at Gama Aviation LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our maintenance operations in Kuwait, ensuring compliance with EASA Part 145 regulations, and providing oversight and supervision to our maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with EASA Part 145 regulations and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in our maintenance operations.
- Lead and manage a team of experienced maintenance engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement a training program for maintenance staff, ensuring they remain current with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Establish and maintain a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the maintenance team, ensuring that all staff are empowered to identify and report any safety concerns.
- Ensure the maintenance team has access to adequate resources, including facilities, tools, and equipment, to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, customers, and stakeholders to ensure that our maintenance activities meet their requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and support to the maintenance team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and report on maintenance department performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in aviation maintenance, with a strong background in leading and managing a team of maintenance engineers.
- Hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License and be able to hold a Form 4 position with the regulatory body.
- Strong understanding of EASA Part 145 aircraft maintenance regulatory framework and interpretation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high standards of performance.
- Strong IT skills and experience of working with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work outside of normal working hours and travel when required.
