Maintenance Supervisor Role

This role is responsible for ensuring that plant machinery and equipment are properly maintained, with any issues resolved in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To supervise the daily functions of the section, including maintenance issues, personnel utilization, disciplinary actions, health and safety, hygiene, and general housekeeping.
  • To ensure that preventive maintenance tasks are done correctly and in a timely manner.
  • To analyze and resolve repair jobs and breakdowns.
  • To suggest optimizations for the preventive maintenance program and spare parts stock, and implement approved changes.
  • To participate in upgrading and installing new equipment.
  • To ensure that all Maximo administrative tasks are done correctly and in a timely manner.
  • To update drawings and manuals as needed.
  • To ensure that the section's manpower is utilized correctly and fully.
  • To meet the training needs of staff members.
  • To attend scheduled meetings in a proactive and timely manner.
  • To alternate with colleagues from other sections when needed.
  • To ensure that staff members comply with health and safety regulations, lean practices, and sustainability guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
  • Work Experience: 10 years of relevant hands-on professional experience.

Professional Background

  • Experience in maintenance, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
