As a senior medical professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of medical practice.

Your primary duties will include diagnosing and treating patients with cardiology-related issues, managing your own clinic, and providing high-quality service to patients within available resources.

You will also be required to investigate, diagnose, and treat patients with conditions appropriate to your specialty, determining the need for clinical investigations and physiological testing.

Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation is crucial, adhering to policies, procedures, and internationally accepted standards. You will also undertake interventional procedures as part of treatment or diagnosis, in line with clinical privileges.

Additionally, you will participate in orientation, education, and support for junior staff, promoting continuing medical education through teaching materials. You will coordinate and exercise professional control over registrars to ensure sound medical and administrative standards.

The role also involves participating in teaching programs, seminars, and promoting clinical investigative work. Preparing statistical reports timely, adhering to departmental standards, is essential.

You will engage in departmental/organizational performance improvement activities, stay updated with current procedures and techniques in your specialty, and report any incidents inconsistent with clinic operation or standards.

Responsibilities also include ensuring timely, efficient, and effective care for in-patients, outpatients, and emergencies, conducting regular ward rounds, and responding to ward calls regarding patient care conditions.
