About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Architect to join our team at Leidos. As a Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting US Army Central Command G2 in Kuwait. You will be responsible for administering and maintaining Windows servers, desktops, and laptops as part of the overall systems architecture across multiple networks and locations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Duty hours on-site are 12‐hours per day, 7 days a week, and are subject to local labor law.
  • On‐call 24x7, including weekends and holidays.
  • Administer and maintain virtual environments (VMware) and physical hosts.
  • Manage users, groups and permissions with Active Directory.
  • Administer and maintain storage devices (NetApp) across multiple locations.
  • Utilize command line tools (PowerShell) to troubleshoot systems hardware, software, and configuration issues.
  • Implement disaster recovery and COOP plans, systems, and operations in coordination with the Network team and other organizations.
  • Basic network troubleshooting in support of the datacenter and workstation/LAN connectivity.
  • Work with teammates as needed to document service structure, network, and server/storage architecture and ensure data security and availability for customers both local and remote.

Requirements:

  • Active DoD Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) required.
  • HS Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience, Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience.
  • Active 8570/8140 IAT II (or higher) Baseline Certification, such as: Security+|ce.
  • Active Computing Environment certification, Associate or higher, such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), NetApp, etc.
  • Systems administration / systems engineering experience.
  • Customer oriented with excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Hold a current US Passport with at least 36 months validity and 5 blank pages left.
