We are seeking a Client Advocate to join our team, providing dedicated support and advocacy for our clients in their homes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and navigate complex systems to meet the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Intake: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing personalized care plans.
  2. Care Coordination: Coordinate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
  3. Medication Management: Administer medications, monitor side effects, and communicate with healthcare providers as needed.
  4. Household Maintenance: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
  5. Companionship: Provide emotional support, conversation, and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  6. Safety and Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, such as falls or medical crises, prioritizing the client's safety and well-being.
  7. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care, including vital signs, medication, and daily activities.
Requirements:
  1. Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in caregiving or a related field.
  3. Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  4. Availability: Flexible scheduling, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  5. Background Check: Pass a thorough background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Specialized Training: Experience working with clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other special needs.
  2. Language Skills: Bilingual or multilingual.
  3. First Aid and CPR: Certified in first aid and CPR.
