Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial accounting processes and be able to effectively manage the production of financial statements. They will also possess a good working knowledge of SAGE and have an intuitive understanding of payroll from a compliance perspective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue and post sales invoices
  • Oversight of the Purchase Ledger function, including monthly reconciliation of Creditor accounts and payment of same
  • Draft and post monthly journals to produce monthly management accounts
  • Perform detailed monthly expense analysis to facilitate management's understanding of financials
  • Filing and payment of returns on ROS, including P30, VAT3, Corporation Tax & DWT where appropriate
  • Ensure timely completion of the statutory audit process and respond to all CT queries pursuant to the audit
  • Provide payroll support, including processing of payroll if required
  • Submit grant claims as needed to Enterprise Ireland
  • Effectively manage credit control
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Complete other ad hoc reporting and engagements as required
