Over the Phone Interpretation Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled interpreter to join our team of professionals providing accurate communication between non-English and English speakers during calls. As an Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI) /Video Remote Interpreters (VRI), you will play a vital role in facilitating smooth conversations in various fields and industries.

Key Responsibilities:

* Answer calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.
* Be prepared to take notes during calls, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Familiarize yourself with industry-specific vocabulary, such as medical terminology, to provide precise interpretations.
* Render all messages accurately and completely, without adding, omitting, or substituting content.
* Provide exceptional customer service during interpreting sessions, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Requirements:

* Fluency in English and native proficiency in Persian.
* At least 1 year of experience in over-the-telephone interpretation, preferably in a reputable company.
* Good knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Familiarity with legal terminology can be beneficial.
* International certifications in the healthcare industry are desirable (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).
* High school diploma in your native language.
* Excellent emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.

Technical Requirements:

* A dedicated high-speed, private, and secured internet connection with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps and upload speed of 3 Mbps.
* Wired internet via Ethernet port (Wi-Fi is not permitted).
* Minimum Windows 10 operating system, dual-core processor (Intel Core i5 or superior), and 8 GB RAM memory.
* Single device capable of running required systems; external devices like cell phones or tablets are not allowed.
* External monitors and connectors may be used if necessary.
* Computers must operate in 'High Performance' mode, not 'balanced' or 'power saver.'
* Power adapter should be plugged in, and the computer should not be running on battery power.
