Job Summary

The Heart of House Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our food and beverage operations.

This position is responsible for assisting and directing Stewards to improve cleanup processes, ensuring water temperature and chemical levels are optimal, and supporting banquet plate-ups and kitchen staff with various tasks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees;
  • FOLLOWING ALL SAFETY, SECURITY, AND COMPANY POLICIES; REPORTING ACCIDENTS AND UNSAFE CONDITIONS;
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality;
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate their needs, and communicate professionally;
  • Develop positive relationships and support team goals;
  • Adhere to quality standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • At least 2 years of related work experience;
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience;
  • No certifications required;
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends;
  • Physically capable of moving objects up to 50 pounds, standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and performing physical tasks including reaching, bending, twisting, and working on uneven surfaces.
