Maintenance professionals in this position are responsible for adhering to EQUATE's technical methods, standards, and loss prevention programs. They must possess basic knowledge of unit operations, ensure compliance with EH&S policies and procedures, and maintain a clean work area.
Key responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance on all HVAC systems, executing assigned jobs by EQUATE personnel, and performing housekeeping tasks after job completion. Additionally, they must update equipment history and records diligently.
This role requires individuals with strong oral and written communication skills in English, as well as awareness and understanding of industrial safety policies. Good supervisory and communication skills are also essential for success in this position.
Preferred candidates will have a 3-year diploma or BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation engineering, with a minimum of 6 years' experience in HVAC maintenance in large buildings, hotels, hospitals, or industrial settings. Knowledge of HVAC controls, building automation systems (CMMS), and software such as MS Office is also desirable.
