Job Description

The Aviation GSE Mechanic diagnoses and repairs malfunctions in Ground Support Equipment. This role involves inspecting and approving completed maintenance actions, solving repair problems using technical publications, and analyzing maintenance trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnoses mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test equipment, and technical publications.
  • Disassembles and assembles malfunctioning GSE accessories and components.
  • Removes, disassembles, repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstalls GSE components and accessories.
  • Maintains and updates paper and electronic equipment records.
  • Provides dispatch service for GSE, including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Three (3) years of Aviation GSE experience in the last Six (6) years.
  • Actual and recent Aviation Related experience in the repair, modification, maintenance and overhaul of related equipment being serviced and their associated components (APU's, etc).
  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • A valid U.S. Passport and ability to travel internationally.
  • Able to pass CENTCOM Medical requirements for deployment.
