  1. Provides inpatient and outpatient consultations to patients with symptoms/ history of coronary artery disease, hardening of the arteries, heart arrhythmia, ischemic cardiomyopathy, high blood pressure, peripheral arterial disease, etc.
  2. Receives referrals and consultations from other disciplines for heart problems, reviews records and plans treatment options
  3. Examines patients for symptoms indicative of heart disorders, using medical instruments and equipment according to the clinical privileges granted to him/her
  4. 4. Orders and interpret tests such as ECGs, CT scans, MRIs, X-rays, blood tests, cardiac catheterization and cardiovascular endurance exercises; analyzes records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition
  5. Utilizes privileges for admission and treatment of patients
  6. Prescribes or administers treatment, therapy, medication and other specialized medical care to treat diseases or conditions
  7. Monitors patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary
  8. Guides, supervises and instructs Cardiology Registrar, Technician and Clinical Nurses in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac patients
  9. Manages record keeping, patient charts and all required patient and hospital records as needed
