SUMMARY OF JOB PROFILE: The CANAR Holding Group's Advanced Systems and Technology Department is looking for a skilled and safety-focused Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Pilot to join our team based in Kuwait. We specialize in cutting-edge drone missions across industrial environments including powerline, oil & gas, and infrastructure inspection. Key Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience operating UAVs in a professional setting, and minimum of 2 years with commercial/industrial drone piloting experience. Strong command of various drone platforms including DJI (hybrid drone experience preferred); comfortable flying in GPS-denied areas and using altitude mode. Familiar with UAV mission planning tools (DJI Pilot, QGround Control, Ug CS). Knowledge of airspace rules, risk assessment, and weather impact. Experience with various payloads including RGB, IR, and preferably UV payloads (Corona detection, LIDAR, Photogrammetry, NDT is a plus). Proficiency with data quality control, crew management, UAV maintenance, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Comfortable with fieldwork, off-road driving, and harsh environments. Engineering degree preferred (Aero/Mechanical/Electrical). FAA Part 107 equivalent understanding (license is a plus). Strong English communication skills (Arabic is a plus). Familiarity with powerline inspection preferred. BVLOS experience and GIS software knowledge (Arc GIS, QGIS) preferred. Additional Information: Regional travel to project sites required.
