You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience Requirement: One year of specialized experience which includes: experience providing full range of engineering disciplines to provide advisory expertise for the design, improvement, maintenance, and operation of proposed facilities and the administration of related programs; evaluating complex design management issues which involve difficult or unusual planning, scheduling, negotiation and contracting. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Selective Placement Factor: This position requires the incumbent to be registered as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect. You must possess a current Professional Engineering (PE) License or Architect Registration, in good standing issued by any one of the 50 states, or its territories: (Note: Attach a copy of your PE license certificate/registration or Architect Registration to your application package.)You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Building and Construction Oral Communication Project Management Technical Competence All qualifications must be met within 30 days of announcement close date.
