Lead high voltage XLPE & Oil filled cable projects

Manage and execute high voltage cable projects

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of high voltage XLPE & Oil filled cable projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals and report directly to senior management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Planning, coordinating, and managing project activities from inception to completion.
  2. Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  3. Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
  4. Monitoring project progress and preparing detailed reports.
  5. Troubleshooting and resolving issues during the project lifecycle.

You will be based in Kuwait (a flexible base location) and will need to travel to various project sites as required.

Qualifications and profile

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic electrical power engineering professional with:

  • A BSc in Electrical Power Engineering
  • 5-7 years of experience in high voltage XLPE & Oil filled cable projects as EPC, preferably with oil-filled cables experience
  • Approval by GCC's local power utility or qualification for approval
  • Approval by the Kuwait Engineers Society
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Primavera, and MS Projects
  • A valid GCC driving license
  • Fluency in Arabic and English
