Overview

This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP. Operates the Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS); performs a variety of duties related to the development and operation of the Installation Access Control Program supporting the mission of ASG Kuwait. Develops guidance, objectives, policies, plans, and procedures for the program. Reviews command decisions and interpretations to assess impact. Ensures resource efficiency and analyzes documents for consistency. Serves as ASG Kuwait's subject matter expert on the Installation Access Control Program.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change as needed.

  • Reviews all installation access applications per ASG Kuwait policy.
  • Registers personnel and fleet vehicles into DBIDS by category.
  • Updates barment rosters to deny unauthorized individuals.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associates degree preferred; one year related experience may substitute for education.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Valid US Tourist Passport and US Driver's License.
  • Secret Security Clearance.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Kuwait driver's license.
Experience & Skills:
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Prior DBIDS experience is a plus.
Working & Physical Conditions:
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (>120°F).
  • Indoor/outdoor environment with harsh conditions.
  • Physical ability to perform light work; heavy lifting and other physical activities may be required.
  • Use of PPE as required.
