About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Commis 1 to join Main Kitchen at Jumeirah Messilah Beach
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are
- Assist Culinary teams in enhancing team spirit credibility respect openness and trust
- Report accidents sickness or equipment malfunctions immediately to the Chef de Cuisine with clear details
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and areas coordinating with the Stewarding Manager
- Adhere to company policies on Safety Procedures Food Hygiene and Safe Food Handling practices
- Ensure all ingredients are ordered received stored and prepared according to standards minimizing waste and supporting financial goals
- Develop Chef s Creations that align with the restaurant s concept and help develop personal culinary style
Requirements
- Should have 5-year minimum experience in Culinary in a five-star hotel.
- Work in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of the style of cuisine.
- Knowledge of HACCP as well as general health & safety in the workplace.
- Solid International Culinary experience
