Engineering Manager (MEP) to lead the Engineering Team for the designing of MEP engineering activities for Commercial, Industrial and High Rise buildings projects.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To plan, direct and coordinate the overall functioning of the assigned Engineering Manager (MEP) inputs/outputs and to ensure that the engineering design requirement for Commercial & High-rise buildings that fit for purpose for implementation.

JOB OBJECTIVES

  1. To manage and lead the assigned EPC Engineering Teams efficiently & effectively by providing guidance and direction to subordinates in accordance with Company procedures and Clients requirements.
  2. To advise on technical issues related to Design & Construction matters, in order to meet specific project requests.
  3. To coordinate with the Project Director, client and Engineering Services Department in meeting Engineering support requirements.
  4. To ensure timely delivery of accurate drawings in accordance with project schedules.
  5. To ensure effective management & utilization of time for personnel.
  6. To maintain project technical standards/specifications in order to meet specific customer requirements.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
Own a Car: Any
Have Driving License: Any

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Knowledge of latest developments in related field.
  3. Conflict resolution, Business administration.
  4. Project management.
  5. Significant experience with large EPC style Engineering Projects.
  6. Leadership.
  7. Complex Problem Solving.
  8. Communication Skills.
  9. Minimum of 15 Years of Work Experience in Design for MEP and leading a team of technical department or engineering department.
