Job Description- Conduct routine analyses of oil, water, and liquid samples using correct methods in accordance with established procedures and schedules, ensuring analytical quality.
- Prepare all required reagents, standards, reference materials, etc.
- Carry out all required data processing (calculations, review, entry, etc.)
- Perform all required record-keeping & documentation
- Perform all required quality control procedures
- Perform instrument/equipment calibration, maintenance, and repair as required
- Prioritize lab activities to meet company deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Laboratory Coordinator
- Communicate effectively in English and Arabic
- Keep the workbench and test equipment, including glassware, neat, clean, and ready for use at all times
Diploma in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from a recognized university/institution.
Additional InformationAt least eight years of experience in chemical analysis, with a minimum of two (2) years in crude oil laboratory analysis. Experience in an internationally accredited laboratory (for crude oil) for at least one (1) year is required.
